It seems like a always begin these journal entries with something like "it's been awhile...." haha But it's always so true! I don't devote as much time to my art as I would like to! It's my last semester of undergrad, and I'm taking 18 hours this semester, 15 of which are chemistry! lol But I do have some good news! I got into four chemistry Ph.D. programs far!!!!!! I was accepted to GA Tech, SUNY-Stony Brook, USC, and UT-Knoxville! I'm so excited, I barely know what to do! I was so worried I wouldn't get into any of them, and so far, I've had no rejection letters! One of the perks is that they pay for you to come visit each program! So, I get a free trip to LA and NYC! It's going to be difficult to choose from all these great schools, and I hope I make the right decision in the long run.
Aside from being abysmally busy, I am enjoying this semester. I feel as if I perform best when I have no free time, except on the weekends. I think the overload has at least allowed me to stave-off senioritis!
In art-related news, I am preparing for my senior exhibit, tentatively titled "Natural Beauty." I know I've painted roses almost exclusively for nearly a year now, but I wanted to include all my nature-themed paintings in this exhibit. Also, be sure to like my Facebook page:
www.facebook.com/pages/Brandon… You can keep up with all my newest paintings and show information there!
That's all the news for now! Take care, everybody!
